Fantasy Soundtrack Double Announcement

Published 2025.08.23

Today's blog post comes in the form of a double music announcement:

Firstly: a brand-new album available today on Bandcamp and coming soon to all major streaming platforms.

Secondly: an album from a couple of years ago coming to streaming for the first time.

Both are concept albums with a unique narrative aspect and fantasy theme.

Lastly, you may notice the music section of the website has been improved, with better writeups and links to all four of my currently-published electronic music albums now available. Please stay tuned for the release of two additional music projects in the near future.

New! Grontaldo's Castle

Grontaldo's Castle

Grontaldo's Castle is an album I have been working on since I began recording electronic music. Some of the tracks I wrote with this album in mind, while others were selected from my backlog as being thematically appropriate, and subsequently integrated with the larger narrative.

The concept behind this album is that all the songs are taken from the soundtracks to a beloved series of video games. With the track titles and descriptions, I aimed to create a more-or-less cohesive narrative that spans each installment in this series, and they are ordered chronologically, both in terms of the games' release dates and the events that unfold in each game. For clarity, I will divulge here—but not on my bandcamp—that these games are in fact not real, but rather fabrications of the author's mind.

Grontaldo's Castle is available now on Bandcamp. It will release soon on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and all other platforms where fine music is streamed.

Coming to Streaming! Wizard Prison (WizPriz)

Wizard Prison (WizPriz)

Wizard Prison (WizPriz) was originally released exclusively on Bandcamp and in person on Halloween of 2023. The album goes along with a zine that features art that was carved by hand in rubber stamps, as well as a card game that was the impetus for the album—the card game and most of its rules were part of a dream that I had, and remarkably when I woke up and tried playing it, the game was entirely playable.

Because of its accompanying literature, it didn't strike me as a good fit for streaming, but a couple people have asked me to distribute it beyond Bandcamp and I like the songs enough that I feel they stand on their own. Therefore, WizPriz will be joining the rest of my discography on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and all other platforms where fine music is streamed coming soon, most likely within the next week or so.

However, if you want the full WizPriz experience, it's worth buying the album in physical or digital form on Bandcamp to get access to the full zine.
