These collages I stamped onto homemade paper with multiple stamps fitting a single design or theme.
This design is using my synth stamps, a set in which each stamp is an electronic component that you might find on a synthesizer. This set of stamps would allow someone to design the synthesizer of their dreams, or even mock up a prototype they intend to build. This synthesizer features largely unlabeled components so it's up to the viewer to decide what the sliders, knobs, switches, jacks, and buttons do. Some elements on this collage were drawn in with sharpie either to fix areas that weren't dark enough or to add elements (like the patch cables) that needed to appear differently in different places or overlap the stamps.
This design features a large, multi-color stamp of a beet, which was produced by creating two stamps of the exact same size from the same source pencil drawing, and carving out different layers from the drawing. The slight misalignment of the two layers gives it a rustic or vintage appearance.
